Putting SBDC Clients First
One of the first things I did when I joined the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center in DeKalb team was jump into the driver seat for marketing. Since my position had been vacant for several months, the center’s marketing efforts had fallen by the wayside. I set out to immediately remedy the situation.
Over several months, I helped guide the center through a transition from Constant Contact to Mailchimp. I’ve worked to clean up a poorly maintained list and make sure we’re delivering content our clients want and need. Our weekly newsletter is aimed at keeping clients engaged with the SBDC. It provides educational information to help them grow their business each week. Additionally, it helps keep SBDC continuing education programs top of mind.
